Oh Boy I have actually done this. For so long I have run away from free motion quilting doing only little bits here and there. When this quilt along came up I thought this is just what I need. My quilting is not perfect but you know it is not as bad as I thought it would be. I feel a lot more confident to do this now (and I have only done four blocks) My patterns are a little tighter as I want to be comfortable doing this on a doll quilt. Whoa think its time for a coffee now.

ReplyDeleteThese are beautiful - great stitching and lovely colors for your blocks. I used a pattern for my borders as I had a jelly roll calling out to me - the white in your blocks though really makes a nice frame for the quilting.
